Join us for our quarterly Arts District Partners Party hosted by Sixth Ward residents Cynthia and Bob Card along with Fresh Arts on Tuesday, October 24, at Decatur Street Studio (Bob Card's art gallery & event space) from 6-8pm.
We'll get to know some of the artists that make Arts District Houston such a distinctive neighborhood. Bob Card will be sharing his current exhibition featuring his natural sculptures alongside works from local artists Monica Melgar and Kevin Babb. We'll also hear remarks from artist Vanessa Sanez, a recent Artist Inc. graduate and illustrator who has created our first Arts District coloring book. And, our final featured artist will be First Ward resident DJ Hiram, who will be curating the music for the evening and giving us an up-close and personal demo.
